Make a clear path to your new shed.
Gather the simple site details that help turn a design into a useful scope.
Measure the whole route
Record the narrowest gate or passage, steps, overhead obstructions, carrying distance, and turning space. Note any areas where materials cannot be set down. Do not remove fences or change landscaping before the project scope is agreed.
Look at the ground
Describe slope, standing water, tree roots, existing paving and structures to be removed. Site photos can help a reviewer understand conditions, but photographs do not establish accurate distances or setbacks. Mark underground utilities through the appropriate process before ground work.
Save first, review next
You can make and save a design before every detail is known. Request a project review with your exact design, city, ZIP code, intended use and access information. Add your preferred timing and leave uncertain site details marked as unknown. A project inquiry needs no account or payment, and preferred timing is not a reserved construction date. Download your design brief to keep a copy of the details.
