PRIVACY

Your project.
Your information.

How Backlot Shed Co. uses the information you share while planning your project.

What the application stores

Saved designs contain your selected shed configuration. Review and order requests also store the contact and site information you submit, consent preferences, source attribution, quote versions and order history. Your private account holds agreements and payment status.

How it is used

Project information supports design review, quotation, order processing and fulfillment for Backlot Shed Co. Public design previews exclude customer names, contact details, private addresses and order access. A shared preview link can be opened by anyone who has it; keep private save and portal links secure.

Messages and measurement

Saving a design does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Requested project messages and separately consented follow-up are handled independently. We use Google Cloud and Firebase to host the website and store project records, and Resend to deliver project emails. Site activity and campaign attribution help us understand how visitors find and use the website. Analytics event payloads exclude private project notes and addresses. Account cookies maintain your signed-in session, and security logs help protect the service.

During a visit, the browser remembers the first public page and permitted campaign tags. When a referring site is available, attribution records the search engine or referring hostname, without its page path or search terms. This source information can accompany a project inquiry so we can see which pages and sources lead to requests. Private design tokens and account paths are excluded from these attribution fields.

Drafts in your browser

The short project-review form keeps your unfinished details in the current browser tab so you can recover them after a refresh. Drafts expire after 24 hours without changes. Use Clear draft to remove them. After you submit, the tab keeps your confirmation reference instead of your contact details and project notes. Start another request clears that confirmation. Browser settings may prevent this recovery feature from working.

Your choices

Contact info@backlotshed.com with questions about your information or requests to access, correct or delete it. Use the unsubscribe link in any optional follow-up. Project and transaction records may need to be retained to manage requested work and resolve questions about it; backup copies follow the hosting services’ retention settings. Shared design previews can be viewed by anyone with their link, so keep private account and project links secure.
